80-A's and 88-Twins split series 2-2

10 series played and the last one is the only one that featured a 2-2 split. In fact the teams even split games in each venue. The key moment occurred in Game 2 when Mike Norris threw the second KOD no-hitter and 1st ever KOD perfect game.

Here are some key highlights from the series by game:

GAME 1: Kirby Pucket went 3 for 5 with 5 RBI's and 2 HR's as Frank Viola gutted out a game where he didn't have his best stuff, but still notched the win. Keith Atherton came on to pitch the 9th and notch the save. The A's threatened in the home half of the 9th and Rickey Henderson was a demon on the basepaths with 3 thefts.

Unfortunately it was sandwiched between a single and walk and a Dave Revering 2 out 2 RBI double. Steve McCatty pitched 9 solid innings yielding only two runs and netting the series split for his team.
